Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salt Automation Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and guiding automation strategies using Salt Stack while collaborating with client teams.

This role requires a hands-on expert who can also mentor and guide internal teams, ensuring smooth deployment processes and scalable automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automation solutions using Salt Stack / Salt Automation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
• Guide client teams on Salt Automation best practices
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize automation workflows
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of deployment processes

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation / DevOps
• Strong hands-on expertise in Salt Stack (Salt Automation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Solid experience working with AWS cloud services
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management and deployment automation
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Mandatory Certification

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Required)
