Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Sanitation Manager to develop, implement and continuously improve on sanitation programs, policies and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the facility.

Shift- Thursday-Sunday-  8:00pm - 5:30am

You will...

Develop and implement strategic sanitation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that sanitary performance meets Factor standards as well as supports Food Safety requirements and regulatory compliance

Maintain and write detailed procedures and SOPs for all plant equipment

Maintain and update master cleaning schedule for plant according to GMP and Factor guidelines

Manage sanitation chemical supply and inventory

Build and maintain relationships with hourly associates, managers, carrier partners, vendors, and various departments within HelloFresh

Effectively engage, coach, motivate and lead the sanitation team for career progression and development

Participate in audits, facility inspections and coordinate  pre-operational inspection with QA Management

Develop and implement all sanitation related training for sanitation and plant employees as needed

Ensure all safety requirements related to sanitation are met including proper chemical storage, MSDS, PPE and procedures

At a minimum, you have...

Bachelor’s degree in food science or related business equivalent/2-4 years of plant quality/food safety/sanitation experience.

Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment 

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and time management skills 

Must display strong leadership qualities

Knowledge of the GMP, HACCP and Environmental sanitation program is required.

Experience with third party regulatory agencies such as  SQF, FDA, USDA is preferred 

Understands and can apply basic microbiological principle
