Overview

As organizations modernize their SAP landscapes, getting master data right is foundational to successful transformation. You’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy and SAP technology – helping clients establish governance, elevate data quality, and execute data migration and MDG programs that support scalable operations and long-term value. This includes designing and applying comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets, performing maturity assessment, and advising on tools and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.

In this role, you will design and apply comprehensive methods and practices to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets, ensuring their protection and monetization. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them, all while aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.
  • Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.

  • Expertise in project and program delivery methodologies, with the ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Strong analytical skills to develop creative solutions for complex problems.
  • Strategic thinking to drive sales, business growth, and client satisfaction.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree); Master’s degree preferred.
  • Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years of relevant experience across one or more SAP modules, including full‑cycle implementations within your core area.
  • Deep expertise in SAP data disciplines, including Master Data Management, Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Privacy.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Strategy, Data Fabric concepts, Ontology design, and IT operating models.
  • Prior consulting experience with enterprise clients; familiarity with industry leading practices and benchmarking.
  • Proven leadership of enterprise SAP data migration programs, providing governance and oversight.
  • Experience managing SAP projects, work streams, and project-based teams.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise IT Architecture and broader data management frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations, client delivery, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to research and advise on emerging regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience supporting or operating within a centralized Data Office and aligned IT architecture model.
  • Strong emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
  • Experience with enterprise SAP data initiatives spanning migration, MDG, and analytics.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving client issues.
