SCADA Engineer

$120-140k base salary

Hybrid in Andover, MA - relocation support available

I’m partnered with a global renewable energy and utilities company who are currently looking to expand their SCADA team, and are looking for a SCADA Engineer to join their ranks.

The SCADA Engineer will be reporting to the SCADA Manager and will be taking on technical tasks that surround maintenance and project support for SCADA systems for renewable generation and BESS. This position will be focused on maintaining the company’s fleet of SCADA systems which will include troubleshooting, maintenance, incident management, change requests and ticketing support. A core focus for this role is going to be assisting in the integration of new power plants into the organization and ensuring the readiness and availability of plant systems as well as transition into the operation phase.

Core skills & experience:

• Demonstrable experience within the SCADA Engineering space with hands-on experience in the integration and maintenance of SCADA systems, automation and PLC for the power/renewables industry
• Exposure to renewable energy systems and SCADA (GE, VESTAS, GAMESA, etc.) is highly desired, should also have hands on substation experience and exposure to RTAC
• Detailed approach to problem solving, troubleshooting, compliance and documentation
• Proficient with industrial and IT communications
• Able to work on-call hours as and when required (evenings/weekends)
