Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a narrow design role. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from engineering and programming through field integration and commissioning. You will work on large-scale infrastructure projects alongside experienced engineering and construction teams while gaining exposure to modern SCADA systems and network architecture.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and support the design and integration of SCADA systems across substation, solar, and BESS projects
- Work across networking including LAN and WAN, SCADA programming, and system integration
- Support field deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure
- Review and validate engineering designs, vendor drawings, and system configurations
- Ensure alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and QA and QC expectations
- Partner with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver projects successfully
- Contribute to proposals, technical standards, and continuous improvement efforts
What We Are Looking For
- 4 to 7 plus years of experience in SCADA, controls, or network engineering
- Background in substations, utility-scale solar, or battery storage projects strongly preferred
- Experience with protocols and platforms such as IEC 61850, DNP3, and Modbus
- Familiarity with SEL, ABB, or GE systems
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking including routers, switches, fiber, LAN, and WAN
- Ability to troubleshoot and support systems in active field environments
- Engineering degree preferred, ideally in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
