Position: SCADA Engineer for Rail & Transit

Shape the future of transportation as a SCADA Engineer with WSP’s Rail & Transit team. This role focuses on designing state-of-the-art control systems for critical infrastructure projects across Canada.

As an Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) / SCADA Engineer, you will collaborate on multidisciplinary projects ensuring safe and reliable solutions for rail systems. Your expertise in advanced control systems will be essential in developing strategies for subsystems including electrical and mechanical units. This role demands strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced control and monitoring strategies
  • Prepare control system narratives and diagrams
  • Create control panel layout drawings and wiring schemes
  • Manage Bills of Materials for projects
  • Support testing, integration, and troubleshooting activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in control systems design
  • Registered Professional Engineer or ability to register
