Then you might be our new colleague for our team in Chicago.
You will develop the foundation for Opoura products and services in the US by ensuring that information and instructions from customers are communicated constructively to all relevant stakeholders internally.
You will ensure that the sales and delivery processes are handled effectively and efficiently throughout the supply chain, as flawless and professional project execution is the backbone of the entire operation, where we deliver tailor-made solutions to our customers through project-based sales.
The role consists of equal parts hard-core Project Management skills and extensive commercial and technical understanding. Projects are established at a strategic level, and you, as a Project Manager, will have full responsibility for budget planning and controlling (in co-operation with Sales) and compliance with our Stage Gate project model, as well as set KPI’s for each project.
The position requires a Project Manager who is to identify and engage project-relevant stakeholders, as aligned communication and decision-making is key to success.
Your everyday responsibilities include:

Deliver projects on time and to the agreed quality and cost.

Drive project coordination internally and with market companies and customers.
•
Define, communicate, and manage the project budget and project cost follow-up.
•
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and with Opura policies, procedures, and guidelines.
•
Handle the internal project administration and prepare production documentation.
You will have functional responsibility for project resources, including supporting budgets, project-related contract management, defining work scope, cost/price matrix, change requests, and claim management, as well as conducting specific Project Risk Management analyses.
Your background
We expect our new colleague to be a qualified Project Manager with a proven track record in Project Management and 6-9 years of relevant Project Management experience, including managing and leading projects from initiation and planning through to closure and evaluation. It is vital to this role that you have a comprehensive commercial understanding of projects, enabling you to see and capitalize on business opportunities throughout them. Furthermore, we expect you to have thorough technical knowledge, as this will help you deliver world-class Project Management for our customers.
At a personal level, you are an excellent communicator with a strong commercial understanding. You have experience working in an international environment and feel motivated to work in a corporate culture characterized by openness and dialogue, with a high degree of freedom in planning your own tasks.

You are educated to a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or engineering and have obtained Project Management Certificate/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar during your career in Project Management.

You speak English fluently and are IT-savvy, comfortable navigating various ERP/CRM systems.
•
In your previous career as a Project Manager, you were accustomed to working in a complex, technical environment on high-budget projects, and you are comfortable managing sales opportunities and shaping solutions for our customers from project start through implementation and handover.

You have above-average knowledge about IT systems, networks, and communication interfaces, etc., and you are IT savvy and comfortable navigating in different ERP/CRM systems, which includes an extensive understanding of IT infrastructures, components, and their internal relationships
