SCADA Systems Engineer (Ignition Certified)

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SCADA/HMI systems utilizing Ignition (Vision, Perspective, and Designer)
- Configure and integrate PLCs, field devices, and industrial networks for optimal performance
- Develop tags, alarms, historical data, and comprehensive reporting solutions
- Create user-friendly interfaces and dashboards that enhance operational visibility
- Establish and maintain SQL database connections and effective data structures
- Support system commissioning, detailed testing, and troubleshooting processes
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align with project goals
- Implement cybersecurity measures and best practices for industrial control systems
Required Qualifications
- Ignition Core Certification (Inductive Automation) - required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SCADA, HMI, or industrial automation engineering
- Strong familiarity with the Ignition platform (tag structure, scripting, modules)
- Proficient in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT)
- Thorough understanding of SQL databases and data integration techniques
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues efficiently
