Course Description Provides students with
the opportunity to apply theory and acquire skills in practice
environments.
Curriculum Context The active
practice of therapeutic communication techniques; nursing
Code of Ethics; individual wellness, health promotion strategies
determinants of health, etc..
Qualifications A
completed BN degree, current registration with the NANB and recent
experience within a clinical setting are minimal qualifications.
Experience and / or a passion for teaching nursing skills would be
a definite asset.

with small groups of students in an off-campus clinical
setting.
