Job Title: Scientist

Location: Thousand Oaks CA – 100% Onsite

Duration: 12+ Months with Possible extension

Terms: Contract W2

Job Details:

Preferred qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, or pharmacology.

• Broad knowledge of molecular and cellular biology with demonstrated independent research eminence through publications

• Understanding of cellular protein degradation pathways (ubiquitin-proteasome system, endo-lysosome pathway), and/or experience in small molecule or other related areas.

• Research experience in molecular and cellular techniques, western blotting, quantitative cell-based assay development, cell line engineering, plate based assays, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

Mammalian cell culture

Plate based quantitative assays (HiBiT, NanoBiT, CTG, NanoBRET)

Molecular Biology techniques

Experience with imaging techniquies

Cell biology background---not chemistry

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Maintain cells

Generate stable cell lines

Perform cell based assays

Data analysis
