Position Summary
Reporting to Department Head, you will be responsible to lead a team to drive process optimisation projects/ initiatives to support business growth for Wholesale Banking Division while complying with regulatory and internal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Formulate strategy in supporting business goals to improve process efficiency, control effectiveness and customer experience
- Oversee and manage process optimisation/ automation projects so as to ensure that the project objectives and benefits are accomplished timely
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver optimisation/ automation solutions for continuous improvement
- Provide insight/ advice on findings of review/ data analysis aiming to ascertain root cause of business/ operation issues, identify opportunities in risk mitigation, workflow streamlining and/or system enhancement/ automaton
- Coach and motivate staff members to achieve their assigned duties
Requirements
- University graduate, major in business administration, finance, statistics, data science or related disciplines
- Over 15 years’ experience in banking sector with sound knowledge in wholesale banking business
- Practical experience in AI solutions, automation tools or data analysis is preferred
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, practices and rules issued by HKMA, SFC, IA and other regulatory bodies
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Business acumen, independent, proactive with agile mindset
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
- Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
