Senior Acquisition Analyst

Our client, a boutique real estate investment firm, is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Analyst to join its investment team in Los Angeles.

The firm focuses on multifamily value-add investments, ground-up development, and furnished apartment communities (100–400 units) across California, the West Coast, Southeast, and select Sunbelt markets. The role will work closely with senior leadership evaluating new acquisitions and supporting the full investment lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial investment platform where team members gain exposure to sourcing, underwriting, investment committee presentations, and transaction execution.

Responsibilities Evaluate and underwrite new real estate investment opportunities and existing portfolio investments Conduct financial modeling and market analysis to support investment assumptions Research demographic, economic, and real estate market trends to inform underwriting decisions Coordinate with brokers, lenders, attorneys, property managers, and other third‑party consultants during due diligence Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for investment committee review Maintain and track a pipeline of potential investment opportunities Assist with transaction execution including due diligence and closing Support fundraising and lender discussions as needed Utilize emerging tools including AI‑assisted underwriting applications Work closely with company partners in a collaborative investment environment Qualifications MBA or undergraduate degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or related field Minimum 6+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, or related analytical role Strong proficiency in real estate financial modeling in Excel Knowledge of key investment metrics including IRR, NPV, cap rates, ROI, and DCF analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present investment analyses Highly organized with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
