Senior Advisor, Integrated Risk Management

As part of the Integrated Risk Management team, reporting to the Executive VicePresident, Risk Management and Compliance, you will play a key role in the evolution of the integrated risk management framework and in strengthening the risk management discipline across the organization.
In this strategic role, you will work closely with business units to support the application of corporate frameworks, consolidate a comprehensive view of the organization's risk profile, and ensure the quality and consistency of analyses and reporting. What you'll accomplish with us
As a Senior Advisor, Integrated Risk Management, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Deploying corporate integrated risk management tools, solutions, and processes; supporting business units in their use; and facilitating the adoption of new approaches through targeted coaching activities, while raising awareness of the importance of consistent risk management practices.
- Contributing to the development of the organization's quarterly risk view by consolidating information from business units to achieve a holistic view of the risk profile.
- Analyzing risk trends, correlations, and concentrations, in close collaboration with Risk Management and Compliance teams, to ensure crossfunctional alignment and an integrated understanding of key issues.
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing key risk indicators and corporate dashboards, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of information used in reporting.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and escalating risks that exceed risk appetite or tolerance, and contributing to clear and structured reporting to senior management.
- Supporting and advising business partners on the interpretation and application of corporate frameworks, assessing the impact of business decisions on the risk profile, and promoting the integration of best practices.
- Contributing to the development, update, and quality of integrated risk management policies, directives, frameworks, and governance documents, as well as to crossfunctional initiatives requiring specialized expertise
What could accelerate your success in this role
We're looking for someone who:
- Is recognized for strong expertise in integrated risk management, including financial, insurance, and nonfinancial risks, acquired in complex, regulated environments.
- Stands out for excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities with partners at various organizational levels.
- Demonstrates strong collaborative and organizational leadership, combined with a proven ability to negotiate, influence, and mobilize stakeholders with diverse interests.
- Is known for analytical thinking, problemsolving skills, and a collaborative approach to identifying solutions to business and riskrelated challenges.
- Has between 7 and 10 years of experience in the risk management field, ideally within Canadian or international financial institutions, preferably in insurance or financial products.
- Holds a graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA, M.Sc.), preferably in finance, financial engineering, or a related field.
- Has knowledge of LEAN and Agile work environments and methodologies considered an asset.
- Has an advanced level of English and French, as the role requires daily oral and written communication with English and French speaking colleagues and internal partners, including U.S. subsidiaries, as well as across Canada and the United States.
