Redis is looking for a Senior AI Automation Engineer to help identify, build, and scale high-impact internal AI and automation solutions across the business. In this role, you will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations—turning ambiguous problems into practical, secure, and scalable systems that improve how teams work. You will design and launch internal AI products, agent workflows, and automation infrastructure across tools, data, and platforms, while helping define best practices for reliability, governance, and long-term maintainability. This is a high-ownership opportunity for someone who wants to apply emerging AI technology to real operational and business challenges, influence how AI is adopted across the company, and help shape the future of intelligent internal systems at Redis.

THE ROLE

What type of work will you be doing:

• Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for AI and automation across the business.

• Turn business needs into product requirements and production-ready solutions.

• Own AI initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and prototyping to launch and iteration.

• Build internal AI products, agent infrastructure, and supporting systems across tools, data, and platforms.

• Establish evaluation, monitoring, and quality controls for AI outputs.

• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable in partnership with operations, IT and security teams.

• Raise the bar through best practices, mentorship, and strong technical leadership.

• Keep pace with emerging AI frameworks, LLM tooling, and security practices.

What You’ll Bring to Redis

Your experience and strengths:

• 5+ years in DevOps, software engineering, solutions engineering, business technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years building and operating production software or AI/ML systems, with exposure to Google Cloud.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering in cloud-native environments.

• Experience applying AI, automation, and APIs to real business or technical problems.

• Familiarity with modern AI platforms, agent orchestration tools, and automation systems.

• Ability to design scalable, secure AI automation architectures across APIs, integrations, and cloud services.

• Strong ownership and the ability to lead complex initiatives end-to-end.

• Clear English communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and biased toward action.
