The Role
We're looking for a full-time Senior AI Engineer to join our team on-site in Hong Kong. You will build our AI inference infrastructure and user-facing products that process real-world health data and translate it into actionable intelligence for our clients.
This is a high-ownership role in a dynamic team. You'll have direct impact on architecture decisions and work closely with our CTO.
What You'll Do
- Architect and ship agentic AI solutions where AI agents reason, plan, and act within corporate workflows
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering our Health Intelligence Engine
- Build responsive, high-quality web interfaces and cross-platform mobile experiences
- Drive code quality, system reliability, and engineering best practices across the team
- Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the technical direction of the platform
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–6 years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, React, and Flutter
- Proven experience designing and building agentic AI systems, including tool use, multi-step reasoning pipelines, or autonomous agent workflows
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- A track record of shipping reliable, secure, well-tested software in production
- A skilled, day-to-day user of AI coding agents (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot), you treat them as a genuine force multiplier and know their strengths and limitations
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional, mission-driven team
- Ability to communicate in Chinese and English fluently for effective communication
Bonus points for
- Experience in healthtech, medtech, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with ML model serving or MLOps
- Exposure to wearable data integrations
