Senior AI Research Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly innovative and skilled Senior AI Research Engineer to join their pioneering team. Responsibilities: Conduct research and development in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Design, implement, and deploy sophisticated AI algorithms and models. Develop and maintain AI/ML frameworks and libraries. Analyze and interpret large datasets to train and evaluate AI models. Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate AI solutions into products. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning research. Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals. Develop and mentor junior AI researchers and engineers. Evaluate and recommend new AI technologies and tools. Contribute to the strategic direction of the AI research roadmap. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI research and development. Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML models. Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages. Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Published research in relevant AI/ML conferences or journals is highly desirable. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Houston, Texas, US .
