Senior AI Research Scientist - NLP

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced research in Natural Language Processing, including areas such as text generation, sentiment analysis, machine translation, question answering, and summarization. Design, develop, and implement novel machine learning models and algorithms for NLP tasks. Stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends in AI and NLP, and identify opportunities for innovation. Collaborate with a team of world-class researchers and engineers to translate research findings into practical applications and product features. Publish research findings in top-tier academic conferences and journals. Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code for research prototypes and production systems. Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Evaluate and benchmark the performance of NLP models and systems. Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio through patents and publications. Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into research objectives. Qualifications:

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of post-graduate research experience in Natural Language Processing. Proven track record of publications in leading AI/NLP conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP). Strong theoretical understanding of deep learning, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python. Experience with large language models (LLMs) and transformer architectures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience with distributed training and large-scale data processing is a plus.
