BrightCore is seeking a

Sr. Analyst Consultant with Inventory & Freight

experience for a long-term project with a well-known Atlanta based company.

Work location is hybrid (2-3 days in the office).

Responsibilities / Nature of Work:

  • Owns end‑to‑end accounting for inventory, unbilled inventory, and freight, including journal entries, accruals, and all related reconciliations
  • Manages inventory reserves (E&O, shrink), prepares analysis files, and supports monthly fluctuation analysis and ad hoc reporting
  • Drives process improvement through Alteryx automations, resolves system issues across Oracle/OneStream
  • Partner cross‑functionally with AP, Supply Chain, IT, and Operations
  • Provides quarterly audit support and maintains key compliance, reporting, and supporting schedules

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in inventory or cost accounting
  • Experience with month-end close processes and journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Alteryx for data automation and workflow development
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and OneStream (or similar financial systems)
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
  • Strong analytical skills
  • CPA or CMA a plus
  • Atlanta Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office & 3-2 from home)
  • W2 only
