Overview
A Senior Analyst, Equity will support the oversight of a portfolio of commercial real estate investments. Key responsibilities include maintaining complex financial analyses, evaluating monthly operating reports and participating in bi-weekly leasing calls. The Senior Analyst, Equity will be encouraged to contribute on the strategic initiatives across their deals and suggest business plan variations, where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the proactive monitoring and management of a portfolio of equity investments across various
property types;
- Review and analyze business plans, leasing activity and monthly property operating performance;
- Maintain detailed and complex asset-level cash flow reforecasting models;
- Organize investment-level data on a monthly & quarterly reporting basis;
- Evaluate and analyze potential new investments, assisting with due diligence and execution of said
investments;
- Liaison with operating partners and leading members of the asset management team to review
business plan execution;
- Perform additional ad-hoc analysis as needed; and
- Help train and mentor junior analysts.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience;
- Asset Management, Development, or Acquisitions across major asset classes experience preferred;
client-facing experience preferred;
- Experience with property underwriting and advanced financial modeling;
- Familiarity with reading loan documents, joint-venture agreements, management agreements, etc.;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ARGUS Enterprise.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree required

Travel Requirements
- Local and/or nationwide travel to assets and client sites may be required as needed, approximately 1-2 times per month depending on deal list.
