Job Title: Senior Analyst, Investment Risk & Data Science Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – approximately 3 days in office) Salary: $150-175k + 10% bonus We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Investment Risk & Data Science to join the investment research function of a well-established asset management firm. This role sits within a small, technically focused team responsible for building analytics, risk insights, and scalable data workflows that support portfolio decision‑making across a suite of investment strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative thinking with hands‑on technical skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for investment stakeholders. This is a full‑time, hybrid position based in New York City. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time. Responsibilities Build and enhance internal analytics tools and automated workflows to support portfolio risk analysis and investment research initiatives Develop dashboards and data visualization solutions to surface insights for portfolio managers and research teams Analyze portfolio performance, exposures, and risk characteristics across investment strategies Support due diligence efforts on prospective investment strategies through quantitative analysis and data‑driven reporting Collaborate with investment, research, and leadership stakeholders to translate complex quantitative analysis into actionable insights Contribute to the modernization of data infrastructure by improving data pipelines, reporting processes, and scalable analytics systems Required Skills & Experience 3–6+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, data science, or investment analytics within asset management, financial services, or a related environment Proficiency in Python or R, with experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation Experience building dashboards or analytics tools using frameworks such as Shiny, Streamlit, Dash, or similar visualization platforms Strong quantitative and analytical foundation with exposure to investment concepts such as portfolio construction, factor analysis, or risk management Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Additional Information Role is hybrid in New York City, with an expectation of approximately three days per week in office Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States – no visa sponsorship available Experience with financial data platforms such as FactSet or Morningstar, progress toward CFA/CAIA, or graduate‑level quantitative study is a plus but not required For more information or to apply, contact Maggie McLaughlin at mmclaughlin@Talener.com #LI-Hybrid #J-18808-Ljbffr
