System Capabilities

  • Enables unprecedented generalization across diverse tasks
  • Enables contact‑rich manipulation in different environments
  • Seamlessly integrates low‑level skills and high‑level behaviors
  • Leverages mechanical intelligence, multi‑modal sensor feedback and advanced control techniques

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of methods for Visual SLAM, navigation and spatial reasoning
  • Leverage simulation and real‑world data collection to create large datasets for model development
  • Develop a hierarchical system that combines low‑level control with high‑level planning
  • Collaborate effectively with multi‑disciplinary teams to co‑design hardware and algorithms for dexterous manipulation

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • High expertise and experience with state‑of‑the‑art SLAM techniques
  • Experience with data generation in simulation and real world

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working effectively across cross‑functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
  • PhD in Robotics, with focus on SLAM
  • Experience in robotic manipulation, LLM, VLA, MPC and RL
  • Experience with robotics frameworks for fast prototyping (Matlab, ROS, etc.)

Benefits & Compensation

The base salary range for this position is – USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
