About the Opportunity

Broadstaff is partnering with a rapidly growing data center platform to hire a Senior Associate, Corporate Development. This role sits at the intersection of M&A, finance, and operations, offering direct exposure to acquisitions, deal execution, and business performance in one of the fastest-growing sectors in infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to transition from accounting, transaction advisory, or corporate finance into a hands-on deal and investment-focused role.

What You’ll Do M&A / Deal Execution (50–60%)

  • Underwrite acquisitions of data center and real estate assets
  • Build and maintain financial models (valuation, IRR, cash flow analysis)
  • Analyze financial statements and assess investment performance
  • Support due diligence, including coordination with internal teams and external advisors
  • Assist with transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing

Corporate Development & Strategy (40–50%)

  • Support post-acquisition integration and performance tracking
  • Analyze business operations and identify value creation opportunities
  • Conduct industry and market research to inform growth strategy
  • Assist leadership with strategic initiatives and expansion planning

Financial & Operational Analysis

  • Provide ongoing financial insights and reporting
  • Support forecasting and internal decision-making
  • Evaluate performance across assets and portfolio investments

What We’re Looking For Required Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in:
  • Accounting (Big firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Transaction Advisory / M&A consulting
  • Corporate finance or financial analysis

Core Skills

  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills (critical)
  • Deep understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Background

  • Experience supporting M&A transactions or due diligence
  • CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
  • Exposure to investment banking or private equity is helpful but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000+ (flexible based on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based
