Arc Labs is an early-stage fintech credit fund focused on providing debt capital to venture-backed lending startups. We invest in innovative startups that are utilizing technology to more efficiently reach, underwrite and lend to underbanked borrowers that traditional banks and lenders are not able to service.

Job Description

The Senior Associate Credit Analyst will work directly with the portfolio managers of the fund and play a critical role in supporting the fund’s investment activities. Because the firm is entrepreneurial and expanding rapidly, the work will be dynamic and successful candidates will have the opportunity to grow and take on additional responsibility over time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform due diligence related to potential investments, including review of presentation decks, historical loan books and financial statements to assess company financial condition and business outlook.
• Assist deal negotiation and execution process including preparing term sheets, coordinating deal documentation and interacting with counterparties.
• Build excel models to support the investment decision-making process, including transaction structure modeling, scenario analyses and asset quality reviews.
• Monitor ongoing monthly performance metrics of credit investments in the fund’s portfolio.
• Write investment memos for presentation to Partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
• Interest in pursuing a career in credit / investment management
• Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
• Strong analytical, quantitative and excel modeling ability
• Attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
• 1-4 years of experience in Investment Management, Finance, Consulting, Fintech or a related role
