This role will be based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Our Ecosystem Strategic Finance team is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Associate to help drive product strategy, reporting, and decision support for LinkedIn’s Flagship (Consumer) experience. This role will support the Growth (Acquire) team and efforts to expand the new user funnel, grow acquisition channels, and drive new experiences that activate and retain users for the long term. This role offers strong exposure to senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Finance, and consumer and growth strategy and operational dynamics.

The Senior Associate will play a key role in product strategy, performance reporting, and developing clear, executive-ready business narratives on key initiatives. You will help craft product initiative roadmaps through data driven insights, manage channel performance to understand & optimize product, and help product teams prioritize their roadmap based on impact sizing. A strong candidate is equally comfortable and skilled at crafting a thoughtful plan, and rolling up their sleeves to get it done. We are looking for someone who excels at driving execution across multiple senior stakeholders, demonstrates strong ownership to dig deep into highly technical and complex areas to drive impact, and is highly analytical with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Thinking

  • Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners.
  • Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities.
  • Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members.

Stakeholder Influence

  • Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.

Execution & Organization

  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to answer a wide variety of complex questions.
  • Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support.

Performance Management

  • Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in the technology industry.
  • 1+ years of experience partnering closely with Product, Growth, or Engineering teams to analyze and translate insights into product or growth strategy recommendations.
  • Proven track record of translating complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $158,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
