Title: Senior Audit Data Analyst

Contract Type: FTC 12 months

Salary: £48,691 per annum to £53,725 per annum (London weighted salary) or £42,668 per annum to £47,406 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 9

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Persona: Agile

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our Internal Audit Team at L&Q!

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join L&Q's Internal Audit team and play a key role in shaping how data is used to strengthen our assurance activity.

In this role, you'll lead the development of Internal Audit's data analytics approach - setting standards for how data is used within audits and driving continuous improvement across the function. Your work will help embed data analytics at the heart of Internal Audit, enabling smarter insights and enhancing the quality of assurance we provide.

Sitting within the CEO directorate and reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you'll be a valued member of the team, contributing expertise and innovation to how we evolve our audit capability.

Your impact in the role:

  • You will be responsible for data extraction and need to have good knowledge of the systems used throughout the organisation
  • You will be working with Internal Auditors to develop data-driven audit tests to help identify cross-cutting themes and systemic risks which will feed into audit planning, opinions and recommendations
  • You will collaborate with Internal Audit stakeholders to explain data findings and present them in formats which can be understood by the wider organisation
  • You will have knowledge of data governance, understand GDPR and have the ability to manage sensitive data responsibly
