Utilize a diverse set of tools including PLC/PAC programming, HMI/SCADA design, network architecture, machine safety systems, motion control, and advanced software development to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, debug, test, and implement real-time control and information solutions.
- Collaborate throughout all phases of the project lifecycle to develop concepts and drive success.
- Create comprehensive engineering documentation including traceability matrices, case studies, and project notes.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
- Develop effective methodologies for complex problem-solving and share best practices with the team.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and development.
Technologies & Tools:
- PLC Platforms: Beckhoff, B&R Automation, PLCNext, CODESYS, Schneider.
- HMI/SCADA: Beckhoff, Inductive Automation (Ignition).
- Networking: Ethernet, Routing & Switching, ADS, Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP.
- Vision Systems: Cognex, Keyence, ROS, Halcon.
- High-Level Languages: IEC 61131-3, C#, HTML5, Python, C++.
- Databases: MS SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, InfluxDB.
- OS: Windows 10+, Linux, FreeBSD.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the listed technologies.
- Strong skills in text-based programming and object-oriented design.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of following established models and developing innovative methodologies.
- Self-motivated individual who excels in team settings and actively pursues learning opportunities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
