At Flexxbotics we deliver next generation solutions for robot-driven manufacturing which includes software and hardware to transform production operations. Our automation team designs and deploys some of the most advanced robotic machine tending installations in industry to enable autonomous process control for continuous operations.

If you’re excited to solve insanely complex challenges that involve machine tools, sensors, inspection equipment, vision systems, collaborative and industrial robots and everything else that could possibly be involved including pre- and post-processes, we need you on the team.

We’re all about our customers’ success, optimization, and business outcomes. You’ll be joining our growing applications engineering team, setting tomorrow’s standard for support and service while innovating on projects for the future of smart manufacturing.

YOU WILL Design, install, and program advanced industrial robotic work cells utilizing Flexxbotics solutions including: 6-axis robots, machines, inspection / vision systems, and other equipment.

Provide clients with onsite and remote technical support.

Review project requirements and proposed solutions from commercial teams to ensure viability, solidify timelines, and assist with equipment specifications.

Generate ideas for Flexxbotics product innovation based on customer feedback.

Own projects from commercial handoff to implementation at the client site.

Ensure implementations are robust in handling common automation edge cases.

Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies.

Assist with the creation of in-house integration tools and process improvements.

Operate outside your area of direct expertise to solve hard problems with the rest of our cross-disciplinary team

YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering or a technical degree in Controls, Industrial, or Robotic systems (or equivalent)

5+ years of experience in an automation, systems, or controls engineering role.

Experience with industrial robotics and CNC machining including: robot / PLC programming, end of arm tool design, fixturing / workholding, and safety systems.

A strong technical background and understanding of software and electronics.

Willingness to travel and perform technical integrations at customer sites.

Ability to effectively communicate on technical challenges with customers.

Ability to invent novel solutions to challenging technical problems.

Strong sense of ownership and pride in creating robust, reliable automation.
