Our client, a leading innovator in automotive technology based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US , is searching for a highly accomplished Senior Automotive Mechanical Engineer to lead critical design and development projects. This role demands a deep expertise in mechanical systems, powertrain components, vehicle dynamics, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, analysis, and validation of complex mechanical systems and components for automotive applications, including engine, transmission, chassis, and suspension systems. Utilize advanced CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus) for detailed design, simulation, and stress analysis. Develop and execute rigorous test plans for component and system validation, including performance, durability, and environmental testing. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, software development, manufacturing, and program management, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues encountered during prototype development and production phases.
