Job Description

Summary

This is a senior, hands‑on Power Platform and analytics role supporting a high‑visibility internal budget planning and forecasting platform used by senior organizational stakeholders. The platform has recently shipped its MVP and is now entering a growth phase, with new features being built on top of an established architecture. You’ll join a small, highly collaborative team and work closely with backend developers, TPMs, and business partners to extend Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI dashboards, and supporting data models. The foundation is already built; the role focuses on extending and enhancing existing capabilities rather than designing a new system from the ground up.

  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and executive‑level reporting
  • Develop and maintain Excel models for planning, analysis, and validation
  • Translate business feedback into clear feature requirements and technical solutions
  • Collaborate with backend developers to understand data flows and system architecture
  • Write and optimize SQL queries supporting analytics and reporting
  • Think through architectural implications of new features prior to implementation
  • Document work and manage tasks using Azure DevOps
  • Clearly explain data solutions and technical decisions to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Provide coverage across the team to ensure continuity when needed

MUST HAVES

  • 7+ years of overall data analysis and analytics experience
  • 3+ years of hands‑on Power Platform experience (Power Apps and Power Automate)
  • Experience understanding and extending existing Power Apps architectures
  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Power Automate workflows

  • 5+ years of strong SQL and data analysis experience
  • Direct experience working with Microsoft Fabric
  • Solid understanding of data flows and ability to collaborate effectively with backend engineers
  • Ability to work independently and confidently within an existing production system

NICE TO HAVES

  • Azure DevOps experience for task tracking and delivery
  • Python scripting experience to support automation or data workflows
  • Experience presenting or explaining technical or data solutions to non‑technical audiences
  • Familiarity with the broader Power Platform ecosystem
  • Experience supporting MVPs and evolving platforms feature‑by‑feature
