Senior Blockchain Architect

Our client, a leading innovator in the decentralized finance space, is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Blockchain Architect to join their dynamic team in New York City, New York, US . This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge blockchain solutions that will shape the future of digital transactions. You will be instrumental in defining the technical roadmap for our blockchain initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across all platforms.

Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design of new blockchain products and services. Evaluate and recommend blockchain technologies and frameworks based on project requirements. Develop smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define project scope and technical specifications. Ensure the security and integrity of blockchain networks through robust design and implementation. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to blockchain infrastructure. Mentor and guide development teams on best practices for blockchain development. Contribute to the overall technical strategy and innovation efforts of the company. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in blockchain architecture and development. Deep understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot). Proficiency in smart contract development languages like Solidity. Experience with distributed ledger technologies and consensus mechanisms. Strong understanding of cryptography and cybersecurity principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with tokenomics and cryptocurrency markets is desirable.
