Senior Blockchain Architect

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge blockchain solutions that drive our business forward. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to translate complex requirements into robust and scalable blockchain architectures.

Responsibilities: Design and architect secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain networks and protocols. Develop and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana). Lead the technical direction for blockchain projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Evaluate and recommend new blockchain technologies and tools. Collaborate with development teams to integrate blockchain solutions into existing systems. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in smart contract development and blockchain security. Mentor junior blockchain developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain network performance and security. Contribute to the development of our overall technology strategy.

The position is based in Sacramento, California, US , offering a dynamic work environment with a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about blockchain technology and have a proven track record of delivering complex projects. A strong understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, and tokenomics is essential. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
