Role Summary:
Senior Business Analyst (8+ years) with strong expertise in Retail Banking and data analysis, capable of bridging business requirements with functional design and data-driven implementation.
Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, documentation (BRD/FSD), data mapping, and end-to-end testing support in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business & Functional Analysis of retail banking systems across: (Cards ; Loans ; Collections ; Debt Restructuring ; Rewards ; Insurance; Investments) and create BRD & FSD.
- Conduct Gap Analysis (current vs target state) and recommend functional changes
- Translate business requirements into clear functional flows and system behavior.
- Define data selection and transformation rules for downstream systems
- Perform data mapping (source → target) for migration/integration
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation using SQL/Oracle
- Identify data quality issues and propose cleansing strategies
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Participate in product lifecycle activities: Backlog grooming ; Sprint planning ; Requirement prioritization
- Create: User Stories ; Epics ; Acceptance Criteria
- Ensure traceability from requirement → design → testing
- Support QA teams in:
- Test case definition. & Test data preparation
- Participate in: SIT / UAT cycles and Defect triaging and resolution tracking
- Validate that delivered functionality aligns with business requirements
- Act as a bridge between business, technology, and vendors
- Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement sign-offs
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements
