Senior Business Data Analyst (Hybrid)

Allegis Global Solutions is recruiting for a contract position, and the assignment will be at Warner Bros. Role: Senior Data Analyst

Contract: 6 months

Payrate: £ 350 per day via PAYE

Mode: Hybrid

Senior Data Analyst – Analytics Engineer Role

Advanced PowerBI, Excel, SQL, Tableau and/or Power Automate

Python (optional but good to have)

Previous Business Analyst experience (good but not necessary)

Data cleaning and data transformation experience

Creative data visualisation and dashboard creation

Power BI and/or Azure Certified

Must be UK based and able to commute 3 days a week

Lead the design and delivery of dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate.

Experience of requirements gathering with stakeholders, translating complex business needs into robust analytics and data workflows.

Own data quality practices, including data cleaning, transformation, validation, and accurate models for reporting.

Establish and refine best practices for data modelling and visualisation standards.

Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to automate data processes where possible, optimise reporting infrastructure, and improve existing analytics frameworks.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analytics, PowerBI engineering, analytics engineering, or closely related disciplines.

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate , with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive dashboards.

Extensive experience in requirements gathering , stakeholder management, and translating business questions into analytical solutions.

Strong background in data cleaning, transformation, modelling , and preparing datasets for scalable analytics.

Demonstrated ability to create creative, user‑centric, visually compelling dashboards and data products.

Power BI and/or Azure certification strongly preferred.

Experience with Python is a plus.

Previous Business Analyst experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Must be UK‑based and able to commute to the office 3 days per week .
