serves as principal underwriter and distributor to investment companies including, but not
limited to, mutual funds, interval/tender offer funds, and ETFs.
Role Overview:
Paralel is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Capital Markets & Intermediary Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in supporting ETF primary market activity and intermediary oversight across our product ecosystem,, including mutual funds and exchange traded products (ETFs/ETPs).
The position will coordinate closely with authorized participants (APs), market makers, financial intermediaries, and banking partners, helping to ensure the efficient operation, oversight, and ongoing optimization of various intermediary and capital market related workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and demonstrates strong communication and relationship management skills.
Job Responsibilities: (may include and are not limited to)
- Coordinate the review, execution, and ongoing maintenance of intermediary agreements, including maintaining inventories, identifying operational implications, and facilitating updates and approvals with relevant stakeholders
- Analyze intermediary agreements from a business and operational perspective, identifying key terms, risks, and impacts.
- Conduct and maintain ongoing due diligence on financial intermediaries and authorized participants, including escalation of issues and monitoring of remediation efforts.
- Prepare and support intermediary-level reporting for boards, committees, and client-facing materials.
- Review and approve ETF primary market activity (creation/redemption orders) across relevant platforms in accordance with established controls.
- Oversee intermediary and distribution-related fee validation processes, including review of calculations, supporting documentation, and investigation/resolution of variances.
- Coordinate intermediary-related payments and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding intermediary and authorized participant relationships, providing guidance and issue resolution.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., compliance, operations, distribution) to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient execution of processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of experience in intermediary operations and/or fund/ETF operations
- Working knowledge of intermediary fee structures (e.g., 12b-1, distribution, servicing, platform fees)
- Exposure to ETF primary market structure and authorized participants
- Experience overseeing third-party service providers and managing exceptions through resolution
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active FINRA Series 24 license required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-service orientation
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation Range:
- $100,000 - $125,0000
- The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, industry experience, certifications, and other factors.
