Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) - New York Hybrid 2-3 days / week

We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and modernise a large AWS environment for a fast-growing technology business.

The focus of this role is building and maintaining a modern, cloud-native AWS platform, with infrastructure defined through code and systems designed to operate across distributed services.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve platform automation, reliability, networking, and security while helping evolve the infrastructure strategy across the business.

Key experience

• Strong experience with AWS in production environments
• Infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools
• Experience building cloud-native platforms using managed services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS
• Strong AWS networking experience including VPC design and traffic control
• Experience with firewall technologies, particularly Layer 4 networking or platforms such as pfSense
• Experience working with distributed systems and scalable cloud architectures
