What you'll be doing
As part of the US Credit Model Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing CIBC's credit risk management capabilities. As a Senior Consultant, Quantitative Risk Modelling, you'll leverage quantitative analytics and emerging technologies to deliver data-driven insights, drive innovation, and ensure robust risk controls. You'll be responsible for the governance, monitoring, and performance evaluation of credit risk management models and analytics, ensuring they meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. You'll work independently on complex assignments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and implement best-in-class risk modelling practices. You'll also partner with Head Office and Lines of Business to support model development and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $130,000- $145,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position (salary range varies based on the location which will be discussed at the time of the interview). The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
