Our client is a leading insurance company aiming to strengthen its credit insurance business by recruiting senior credit analysis/approval professionals from the insurance and banking sectors. While they prioritize experienced insurance talents, they are also open to banking candidates with trade finance and corporate credit expertise to join their dynamic, international platform.
Your Responsibilities
Credit Risk Assessment & Stakeholder Management
- Perform financial, business, and industry analysis of companies across industries.
- Gather information proactively include client meetings to support credit analysis.
- Assess creditworthiness and propose appropriate credit limits in line with the bank’s risk model and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio exposure and proactively flag potential risks or negative news
- Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, and stakeholders through regular calls and meetings with clear credit advice to protect company's risk appetite and balance commercial relationships.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives through credit underwriting and analytical support with collaborating with commercial team to support portfolio profitability and provide credit/ financial insights
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in credit analysis, preferably in trade credit insurance / trade finance or mid to corporate-to-corporate credit (or related financial services).
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and industry risk assessment.
- Ability to conduct company visits and manage meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Strong independence, initiative, and sound credit judgment with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Language: Cantonese (native) and proficient English and Mandarin
- Experience working with MNCs / multicultural teams is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
