Overview
The Senior CRM Data Analyst is an active member of the Publicis Data & Insights Team. The Senior CRM Data Analyst will be responsible for aggregating, analyzing and providing insights that help monitor, optimize and deliver data driven recommendations to our clients on a regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and ad-hoc basis and/or or whatever the business requires.
This role will support two accounts. 1) B2B - analytics experience providing performance and best-next actions, 2) B2C - focused on analyzing lead generation and loyalty data. This candidate will be embedded within the client’s business so their data-driven insights will influence the strategy for their programs. This candidate will work together with a Senior CRM Strategist, using data to inform decision-making in program strategies.
This candidate must ensure that the data used in the analytics process is accurate and robust. Candidates must also think strategically to identify issues that need to be optimized or resolved. The Senior CRM Data Analyst will always work proactively to prioritize their tasks based on the client’s needs. In addition, it is important for the Senior CRM Analyst to have attention to detail and to validatedata that is questionable for accuracy and to help address “the why” to support any recommendations to clients, in collaboration with Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the client’s CRM business by providing strategic recommendations, based on the insights. You don’t simply provide the numbers but tell a data-driven story and will be required to present to clients.
- Understand Account Based Marketing, and its intricacies related to the Customer journey.
- Be comfortable collaborating with and presenting to Senior clients across the organization. Being quick on your feet to answer any questions related to the data is key.
- Lead analytics projects of varying sizes and complexity, including report automation, data visualization, tool implementation requirements gathering and documentation, split testing, and ad hoc analysis, as required by the client. Outputs could include regular reporting, scorecards, and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc requests) based on the needs of the client.
- Create data models to meet client ad hoc requests.
- Create and/or maintain dashboards within Power BI or Tableau.
- Drive industry leading insights and recommendation on email, SMS, and Push campaigns.
Qualifications
Candidate Experience (4-5 years):
- CRM analytics, ideally within an agency setting.
- Account Based Marketing experience.
- Experience using insights to make recommendations to clients on how to optimize their business.
- In writing industry leading insights based on marketing campaign results.
- Working with Marketo and/or SFMC (being certified is a bonus).
- Experience with SQL/ Python and structured datasets.
- Working with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, or Tableau.
- Advanced Excel & PPT.
- Knowledge A/B or multivariate testing and analysis for CRM campaigns.

- Undergraduate Degree (Marketing, Business, Statistics, Analysis, or other related degrees considered an asset).
