Senior Curation Scientist

A company is looking for a Senior Curation Scientist to join their team in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Oncology Data Curation team to design data structures for oncology testing data

Interpret diagnostic test results and develop mappings for data integration

Curate and manage large oncology data sets while ensuring high data quality standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience

1+ year of experience in bioinformatics, information integration, or knowledge modeling

1+ year of experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) datasets

1+ year of experience using bioinformatics resources such as NCBI Entrez Gene or PubMed

Familiarity with clinical data standards such as HL7 and FHIR
