As a Senior Data Analyst specializing in Workday, you will play a critical role in our data conversion efforts. Here are your key responsibilities:
- Actively participate as a Data Conversion Consultant on various project teams.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for converting data from legacy systems to Workday Cloud HCM and Financial systems.
- Utilize Workday’s provided loading tools to efficiently convert data.
- Create ETL scripts for data transformation and loading in preparation for Workday.
- Validate data that has been loaded into Workday.
- Assist clients with legacy data mapping, identify data quality issues, and maintain overall responsibility for conversion activities.
- Communicate effectively with project and client leadership regarding project progress.
- Align closely with leadership strategies to establish and meet Workday project goals.
- Collaborate with client counterparts to achieve shared objectives successfully.
- Identify and escalate risks in a timely manner and develop alternative solutions as needed.
- Propose process improvements based on project experiences.
This role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with preferred locations in Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of consulting experience or similar professional background with either an internal consultancy or a consulting/software organization.
- A minimum of 1 year of HRIS experience, particularly with Workday in relation to data migration from other systems like SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
- At least 1 year of experience working within a project workstream.
- Experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, or XPath for at least 1 year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and macros for at least 1 year.
- Completed at least 1 full lifecycle ERP Implementation in a Data Conversion capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years). For an Associate's degree, at least 6 years of work experience is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Possess Workday Partner Certification.
- A four-year degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in Reporting and Analytics.
- Self-motivated and adept at thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptable to fast-paced and changing work environments.
- Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with project leadership.
