Senior Data Analyst - Healthcare

Your Role

The Consultative Support and Project Management team is dedicated to providing insightful analytical support for contract negotiations and managing competitive intelligence data crucial for the organization's success. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Data Analysis and collaborate with various teams, including Actuary, Network Compliance, and Contracting Network Managers. Your primary focus will be to assess the overall health of contracted entities, identify important trends, investigate anomalies, and effectively communicate your findings.

You will take ownership of creating and distributing key reports that play a vital role in the organization's future planning and financial health. Your Knowledge and Experience

• Master's degree in Public Health, Business, Social Science, or related field (or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent professional experience)
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare settings such as managed care, academic institutions, or government payers
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access, including advanced modeling and query capabilities
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Strong business acumen with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience presenting to executive leaders
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and Access), Unix, SQL/PL-SQL, and SAS
• Strong analytical and presentation abilities
