Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who lives at the intersection of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence. This is a "hands-on" technical role for a system-builder who can bypass manual reporting and create automated, scalable data architecture. As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be the primary architect responsible for extracting raw data from your entire digital stack Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, and Review Platforms and engineering the integration logic required to power high-performance Power BI dashboards. You must be comfortable writing the queries, managing the APIs, and presenting the final strategic insights to the business.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration & Extraction:
- Act as the technical owner for data retrieval. You must be able to pull and sync data from multiple fragmented sources: E-commerce (Shopify / Shopify Plus with Orders, Inventory, and Customer LTV), CRM/Service (Salesforce Service Cloud & Data Cloud), Social Commerce (TikTok Ads Manager and TikTok Shop), and Customer Voice (scraping or API-integrating Review Platforms such as Yotpo and Bazaarvoice).
Data Modeling & Architecture:
- Design and maintain the star schema or data models within Power BI. Ensure that data from social (TikTok) and web (GA4) aligns perfectly with backend sales (Shopify) and customer support (Salesforce).
Advanced Power BI Development:
- Lead the creation of the "Business Command Center." This includes expert-level DAX, Power Query (M), and ensuring sub-second report responsiveness for executive users.
Technical Insights Delivery:
- Bridge the gap between "Raw Data" and "Business Action." You will lead the "Review & Insights" sessions with the brand team, explaining how technical shifts in the data impact the skincare business's bottom line.
Automation & Scalability:
- Replace manual exports with automated ETL/ELT pipelines. Ensure the data ecosystem is robust enough to handle high-growth scaling and seasonal spikes (for example, promotion periods).
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Engineering (required). This is a technical-first requirement; the role requires an understanding of system logic, schemas, and API structures.
Required Experience
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in a technical data role (Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or BI Lead).
- Demonstrated experience working with the Shopify and Salesforce ecosystems simultaneously.
Required Skills
- Expert-level Power BI (Visualizations, DAX, Power BI Service).
- Advanced SQL (Complex joins, window functions, and optimization).
- Experience in E-commerce (specifically Skincare/Beauty) is a major asset. You should understand industry metrics like Burn Rate, Repeat Purchase Frequency, and Product Sentiment Analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python for data manipulation or API calls is highly preferred.
