Job Title: Senior Data Analytics Consultant / Finance Reporting & Analytics COE

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

Duration: 18–24 Months Contract

Notes:

  • Looking for candidates with a strong mix of technical + business understanding
  • Heavy focus on Data, Automation, and Forecasting Models
  • Hands-on model building experience is REQUIRED
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Dashboarding tools is NON-NEGOTIABLE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Consultant with strong technical expertise and business acumen to support Finance Reporting & Analytics initiatives. This role is focused on data strategy, forecasting models, automation, and advanced analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data modeling, BI tools, and financial analytics, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement forecasting models to support financial and operational planning
  • Build and optimize data models, ETL pipelines, and automated reporting solutions
  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
  • Partner with business and finance teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
  • Support supplier contract analysis and financial modeling initiatives
  • Drive data automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across analytics solutions
  • Communicate insights through data storytelling and visualization to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / Financial Analytics
  • Strong expertise in:
  • SQL (MANDATORY)
  • Data Modeling & Forecasting
  • Power BI / Tableau (Dashboard Development)
  • Experience with Snowflake (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Python or R for predictive analytics and time-series modeling
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and large-scale data environments
  • Strong understanding of data automation and analytics solutions
  • Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Finance Analytics / Reporting / COE environments
  • Exposure to supplier contracts and financial planning models
  • Background in Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharma industry
  • Familiarity with tools/platforms such as:
  • Salesforce, SAP, AWS, Azure DevOps
  • Alteryx, Spotfire, Sigma, or similar BI tools

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred (Analytics, Data Science, or Business-related disciplines)
