Our client is a dominant force in global digital payments, processing billions for the world’s largest brands. As they enter a new phase of hyper-growth, they are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to drive the technical maturity of their financial data infrastructure.
In this senior-level role, you won't just follow a roadmap—you will help define it. You will lead the transition from traditional batch processing to sophisticated streaming architectures, ensuring data is not just accurate, but available in real-time for mission-critical decisions.
This is a high-visibility position where you will mentor mid-level engineers and act as a technical bridge between engineering, product, and finance leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and lead the implementation of scalable data models using dbt and Snowflake.
- Drive the migration of complex logic from SQL into high-performance streaming layers.
- Define and maintain advanced Looker frameworks to enable global self-serve analytics.
- Partner with leadership to establish North Star metrics and data strategy.
- Own the architectural health, reliability, and security of critical financial pipelines.
- Mentor team members and drive engineering best practices through peer reviews.
- Optimize deployment workflows using Terraform, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.
- Automate complex processes to enhance the scalability of the entire data ecosystem.

What They’re Looking For
Essential
- Extensive experience in data, BI, or analytics engineering at a senior level.
- Advanced SQL mastery and deep expertise in dbt for complex data modeling.
- Experience architecting solutions within Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Proven ability to lead the software development lifecycle using Git and CI/CD.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and driving technical standards.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Apache Flink or other stream-processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Background in scaling data platforms within fintech or highly regulated industries.
