About This Role:
Forrester Research is excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in our research team focusing on our data, AI, and analytics initiatives. This role is crucial for supporting data and AI leaders in achieving high performance, which includes utilizing data, AI, and technology to drive remarkable business outcomes. Additionally, your insights will assist vendors in shaping the future landscape of the market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting primary research on AI governance and responsible AI practices, exploring their intersection with data and IT governance, as well as regulations at various levels to help organizations maintain compliance.
- Providing insights and guidance on frameworks like NIST AI Risk Management Framework and other national policies to aid organizations in establishing and maintaining robust internal governance programs.
- Evaluating AI governance practices among vendors and SaaS providers, offering recommendations to ensure their AI tools align with ethical and security standards.
- Delivering 8 to 12 informative and actionable research projects annually, incorporating diverse formats such as reports, webinars, podcasts, and infographics.
- Leading key Forrester Wave and Landscape reports, driving significant industry insights.
- Consulting with clients to apply Forrester’s research to their unique business scenarios, supporting them through tailored guidance and advisory services.
- Presenting at Forrester-sponsored and industry-related events, sharing your expertise through webinars.
- Building an influential presence within the industry, establishing connections with journalists covering relevant topics, and participating in press inquiries as needed.
- Collaborating in business development efforts alongside Forrester’s account leadership teams.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork, mentorship, integrity, and persistent positivity.
Job Requirements:
- A BA/BS degree.
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in AI governance, data governance, IT audit, or roles related to AI/ML development, data engineering, data architecture, or data science.
- Expertise in AI governance solutions, AI platforms, data governance frameworks, and analytics applications.
- Ability to advise senior leaders and C-level executives effectively.
- Exceptional communication, listening, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.
- Strong awareness of challenges faced by data and AI executives, along with an understanding of emerging technology impacts.
- Proficient in simplifying complex ideas into clear, persuasive concepts and articulating positions confidently.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Base salary range: $119,000 - $193,000. Salary ranges for specific regions are listed in the job posting. Bonus target: 10%.
