Senior Data Engineer - Boutique Global Investment Manager - Data Strategy / Technology

This role focuses on building data systems that directly support the investment process.

You will join a team where data is treated as a core asset, with responsibility for designing and owning scalable platforms used across research, trading, and decision-making.

The role

You will design and build data systems at scale with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability. You will write production code, build data models, and shape how data flows through the organization. You will work closely with investment teams, researchers, and engineers on problems that are both technical and business-critical.

What we are looking for

• Strong programming ability in Python, Java, or Scala

• Experience building data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies

• Track record of designing and implementing data pipelines and systems from the ground up

• Understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, and performance optimization

• Background in finance or consulting is preferred
