Senior Data Engineer — Data Infrastructure (ETL / AWS / Snowflake)

Paradex is building a high-performance decentralized finance platform combining exchange, asset management, and lending infrastructure. This role sits within blockchain infrastructure roles , supporting a rapidly scaling system handling large-scale financial data across a remote and on-site hybrid environment in Singapore.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will own the design and operation of data infrastructure powering critical decision‑making. The role focuses on building scalable ETL pipelines, maintaining data reliability, and enabling data accessibility across teams. You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure data systems handle complex, high‑volume workflows with accuracy and speed, supporting a fast‑moving DeFi environment with production‑grade data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
• Improve data infrastructure performance and scalability across large datasets
• Implement data quality measures and automated monitoring systems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams to deliver data‑driven insights
• Handle time‑sensitive data requests and deliver accurate, fast‑turnaround solutions for business needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehouse design, and ETL best practices
• Proficiency with modern data stack including Snowflake, Airflow or DBT, and AWS
• Experience with distributed systems and data streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis
• Proven ability to handle urgent data requests and deliver business‑critical insights efficiently
