Senior Data Engineer - SQL and Python 💰 Salary: $120,700 - 142,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive hands-on experience with dbt for building, testing, and maintaining production-quality data models
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python
  • Experienced in designing, constructing, and overseeing comprehensive data pipelines with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
  • Proven expertise in data modeling and translating business requirements into scalable data structures
  • Capable of managing end-to-end data systems/projects, from scoping to maintenance
  • Skilled in building integrations between different platforms and identifying enhancements in data flows
  • Experience collaborating on team projects with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor fellow engineers in best practices and coding standards
  • Background in environments where engineers design solutions rather than merely execute predefined requirements

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are:

  • Create comprehensive data pipelines and integrations to align with organizational objectives
  • Develop and oversee APIs for efficient data transfer between various systems
  • Transform and link data across applications and the data warehouse while ensuring data consistency
  • Set up and enforce standards for scalable and sustainable integration development
  • Offer advanced support for data integrations and collaborate with IT and Product teams to address any issues
  • Lead the implementation of new integrations and offer ongoing support post-deployment
  • Choose and implement tools that fulfill integration and data infrastructure requirements
  • Create educational resources to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translate them into viable technical solutions
  • Clearly explain complex ideas to ensure well-informed decision-making
  • Mentor team members and assist in promoting best practices and coding standards
  • Identify and explore new opportunities for leveraging data across systems
  • Oversee integrations for accuracy, reliability, and security
  • Maintain documentation and a comprehensive overview of data integrations
  • Support the development of governance structures for data management
  • Contribute to long-term planning for enterprise architecture and technical guidance
