Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI Applications to join their team in Dallas, Texas, US . This role will be instrumental in leveraging advanced machine learning and AI techniques to develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning algorithms, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will work with large, complex datasets to build predictive models, develop AI-driven features, and optimize existing systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing sophisticated machine learning models and AI algorithms. Designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance. Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborating with engineering and product teams to integrate AI models into production systems. Communicating complex findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to the team's technical growth. Staying current with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning research. Developing and maintaining data pipelines and MLOps best practices. Evaluating and selecting appropriate tools and technologies for data analysis and model development. Contributing to the strategic direction of AI initiatives within the organization. Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
Required qualifications include a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles is required, with a strong portfolio of applied AI projects. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) are essential. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. This is a hybrid position, requiring some on-site presence for collaborative meetings and team building, with the flexibility for remote work.
