What you will do
- Own the end‑to‑end ML lifecycle by designing, deploying, and monitoring production‑grade services that power real‑time demand forecasting and workforce optimization
- Build robust, observable ML pipelines and monitoring strategies to detect drift and ensure models maintain commercial value and accuracy in live operational environments
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed statistical models into seamless workflows that restaurant operators rely on daily to manage multi‑million pound businesses
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record of taking production ML systems from ambiguous concepts to revenue‑impacting deployments, specifically within classical ML, forecasting, or time‑series domains
- Advanced academic background (MSc/PhD) in applied statistics or quantitative reasoning with a "production‑first" mindset and proficiency in writing clean, maintainable Python for shared codebases
- Strong systems thinker comfortable working across APIs, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure while measuring success through business metrics like automation rates and margin improvement
